Oct. 19, 2010 - Summer / Fall Pictures
Had the most beautiful sun rise this morning (top right picture). Had to replace the batteries in my camera but was able to capture the beauty in time. I will post other pictures as well - taken this summer and fall. Pictures of rainbows, blue heron visits and early summer sun rise over white house (bottom picture) - enjoy.

Regatta Weekend - July 30th to Aug. 2nd, 2010
We brought the Lake Bernard regatta to West Lake. What an amazing weekend. Sun, sun and more sun. Cool nights so very little mosquitos. We had fires each night. On Sunday we had our events, 1 mile walk/run, swimming, king of the castle water tramp, kayak, horse shoes, volley ball serves, croquet, arm wrestling and balderdash. We also played badmington and botchie ball over the weekend but they didn't make it in the contest on Sunday. The overall winner was Bruce, 2nd place Shawn, 3rd Andrew and honourable mention to Matt - follwed by a tie with Mandy and Christy. Next year watch out, the ladies will place in the top ranks as we will be training. Enjoy the pictures. They are posted quite a few weeks after the regatta.

Valentine's Day - skate with neighbours - Feb.14/10
What an easy winter so far. Very little snow. The ice is fantastic. Shovelled the pond last night and went for a romatic skate after a nice pre-valentine's dinner (gluten free). Today we had our usual Sunday brunch with family. Went for a long walk, saw a coyote from a distance. A few weeks ago I saw a small white, very cute animal by the lake, I googled and decided it was an ermine. Don't think it was a weasel - had some black on it's tail. Found out they can be quite nasty. Today we went skating with the neighbours. The pond is absolutely amazing to skate on. Pictures taken by our neighbour. Enjoy.
