Concrete Porch and Basement Framing - June 24th

Had to meet the builder so we took a side trip to the house. Lots of framing work done in the basement. The front porch is poured, looks great and love the steps. The house is moving along quicker than originally thought. Hasn't rained in days. We may be in sooner than expected. Perfect, can't wait.

Father's Day Dinner, June 21st

Father's Day dinner at the house. Neighbours set up a table, flowers and chairs for us. What a surpise. Peaceful dinner with the family followed by a walk around the lake. Hard to leave.

Visit with Friends, June 20th

Visit on Saturday with friends at the house. Beautiful evening, walk around the lake with friends and neighbours.

Shingled roof, June 17th, 2009

Drive out after dinner to see the shingles on the roof. Other activity on lots 26 and 32. The roof looks great. Love the colour. Took a walk around the lake, bugs not too bad, beautiful evening.

Picnic dinner at house - June 12, 2009

Drive out to house on Friday night to have dinner and meet up with the neighbours. Very enjoyable dinner in the sunroom.

Windows - and then there was light! - June 10th, 2009

Drove over to house after dinner on June 10th to see the windows. Looks incredible. The septic is in and more fill in the front. At this speed, we might be in sooner than expected. Hard to pick only 3 pictures, I took so many. Enjoy.

More progress - June7, 2009

Drove over to the house on Sunday June 7th after doing the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. We were exhausted and I got sick but still had to see how the progress was going. It must have rained out here, there was water in the house. Coming along nicely. Enjoy the pictures.

Roof trusses are being installed - June 3, 2009

Visit at lunch to take pictures of progress. Roof trusses are being installed. We arrived too late to take pictures of the crane lifting the trusses. Lots of activity and progress. Took pictures of some of the men from West Hill Homes. Gorgeous day and looks like the rest of the week will be perfect for building.
